our Geographical, Location Based Web Services. The web services provided are built using
the open standards of the Open Geospatial Consortium, Inc. (OGC).
Specifically,
the services below are attempting to complete the OpenGIS?? Location Service (OpenLS)
Implementation Specification:
Core Services (OLS Core) v1.1.1. These are defined as application schemas that are
encoded in XML for Location Services XLS.
Conceptually, this (XML) service offers extemely easy spatial integration to any programming
language or system. Java users should note than an API is also available from TerraPages.
